Do I need a GP referral to join Thrive Rx?
No. You do not need a GP referral to start with Thrive Rx. You can book an eligibility call or initial consultation directly, and our clinicians will coordinate with your GP or specialists if any results require further medical follow‑up.
Will I definitely receive a prescription through Thrive Rx?
No. Prescriptions are never guaranteed and are only provided when there is a clear therapeutic need after your assessment and pathology review. Thrive Rx is a longevity and optimisation program, not a script service, and all prescribing decisions remain at the discretion of your treating practitioner in line with AHPRA and TGA guidance.
Can I use my existing blood tests or pathology results?
You’re welcome to share recent pathology results, and our clinicians will review them as part of your intake where relevant. However, the specialised longevity panels included in your membership are still required, because many standard tests do not cover the biomarkers our practitioners rely on for precise protocol design. Your program includes these comprehensive blood panels as part of your package, performed through our partnered laboratories.
Is Thrive Rx covered by Medicare or private health insurance?
No. Thrive Rx consultations, programs and memberships are private services and are not rebated by Medicare or private health insurance. Your subscription pricing includes all clinician consultations and core pathology; medications and treatments are billed separately and discussed transparently with you before starting.
Can I access Thrive Rx if I live regionally?
Yes. Thrive Rx is designed to be accessible Australia‑wide via telehealth, including regional and remote areas. Your consultations, care planning and follow‑up are delivered online, with prescriptions dispensed and shipped by TGA‑compliant partner pharmacies where available.
How is Thrive Rx different from other health and wellness platforms?

What happens if I need to cancel my Thrive Rx membership?
You can cancel your subscription before the start of your next billing cycle (quarterly, bi‑annual or annual), and you will retain access until the end of the current paid period. To cancel or change tiers, you simply contact the support team ahead of renewal so billing and your clinical plan can be updated safely.
