Complete a short intake on your health history and goals, and upload any results you already have. Then pick a time.

See your doctor.
A 20-minute telehealth consult, usually within 24–48 hours. Your doctor reviews everything and requests any bloods that are clinically relevant.

Get your bloods done.
Take your request to a pathology collection centre near you. Eligible tests are bulk-billed, so there’s nothing to pay at the lab if you have a valid Medicare card.

Get your protocol.
Your results and practitioner-reviewed protocol appear in your dashboard. If your doctor wants to go through your results with you, you can book a review consult for $99 (usually $149).
Twenty minutes, one-on-one, with a doctor who reads your intake before you log on. You talk through your history, how you’ve been feeling and what you want to work on. Then you get a protocol.

If your doctor suggests more
Your doctor may recommend a focused program if it’s clinically appropriate for your history and goals. That’s always their call, and a program doesn’t guarantee access to any specific medication or therapy.
On prescriptions
If your doctor decides a prescription is clinically appropriate, it goes to the Australian pharmacy you choose. You pay pharmacy price plus shipping, with no markup from us. Medication isn’t included in the $199, and a consult doesn’t guarantee any particular prescription.

Every doctor is Ahpra-registered. You can check their registration on the Ahpra register.

A useful consult needs data. Most people either don’t have recent results, or they’ve seen the price of a private panel and put it off.
In your consult, your doctor works out which tests are relevant to your history and goals. Tests that meet Medicare criteria can be bulk-billed, so with a valid Medicare card you pay nothing at collection. You take your request to a pathology collection centre near you, and your results go straight to your Thrive Rx dashboard.

Some tests aren’t covered by Medicare and may attract a fee from the pathology provider. Your doctor will tell you before requesting a test that isn’t covered. The consult fee is private and not Medicare rebatable.

Want a broader picture?
